Many of these misconceptions were not apparent preoperatively nor at discharge because patients are anxious, still recovering from the surgical experience, and not always able to absorb information or anticipate future issues...

foundations for the department's use of web application software for
educational initiatives. Additional responsibilities of this position may
include classroom instruction and some collection development. This is a

and video technologies, experience with scientific and engineering literature
or the information needs and practices of engineers or scientists.

Appointment and Salary: The successful candidate with demonstrated
accomplishments in research and creative work will be appointed as a full-time
(12 month) assistant professor on tenure track. A successful candidate with
promise in research but lacking an established scholarly record will be
appointed as a senior instructor (non-tenure track) for two years with
promotion to the tenure track and the rank of assistant professor upon a

University group health care plan, group life insurance, TIAA/CREF

I just came across this title for the first time in the bibliography of
a local faculty member.

AAPPS bulletin
Association of Asia Pacific Physical Societies bulletin
Fulltext v13+ (2003+); Tables of contents v1+ (1991+)
http://www.aapps.org/
ISSN: 0218-2203

The review paper she contributed is not part of the online content. For
citation purposes, she deposited it in arXiv , which
is not her custom. Of her 14 papers in arXiv, this is the only one of
which she was the single author. In addition, although other papers
cited in the current article are included in arXiv, only this paper
carries the arXiv identifier.

N.-C. Yeh. Recent Advances in High-Temperature Superconductivity.
Bulletin of Associations of Asia Pacific Physical Societies (AAPPS),
Vol. 12, No. 2, page 2 -- 20 (2002).
http://arxiv.org/pdf/cond-mat/0210656

Self-archiving occurs, but, as illustrated by this case, most often when
it provides significant [perceived] advantage to the author.
